====== heXentafl ======

heXentafl is a hexagonal variant of Hnefatafl where the attackers try to capture the king and the defenders try to guide the king to one of the six corners.  

The size 4 and 5 hex-hex boards are supported.  Note that on the smaller board, the king may only move one step at a time, while on the larger board, the king may move like any other piece.

  * **Attackers** (player 1) win by **capturing the king**.
  * **Defenders** (player 2) win by moving the king to any of the **six corners**.

Repeating a position (same board and player to move) twice is a **draw**.

==== Setup ====

Default hexhex **size 4**. King starts in the centre with defenders; attackers occupy the rim. Size 5 uses a larger array and a longer-range king.

==== Gameplay ====

Pieces slide any distance through empty hexes (on size 4 the **king steps only one** hex). Capture by **sandwiching** an enemy between two of yours along a line. Special sandwich geometry applies on corners (for warriors) and on the throne (for the king).

Captures are mandatory when the engine lists them as part of the move notation.
