Biscuit is a 2-3 player dominoes-like game with some hidden information, played with a multi-suited deck of cards called the Decktet.
A domino-style Decktet game where you play cards to immediately score points and try to be the first to play all the cards in your hand. A game is played over multiple rounds to a specified target.
Inventor: David L. Van Slyke
See Decktet wiki: Biscuit. Uses the Decktet.
Play continues round after round until, at the end of a round, someone's total is at least the target (default 60). Highest total wins; equal high scores share the win.
Going out (empty hand) also scores leftover cards in other hands as described in the Decktet wiki, including extra points for Pawns/Courts in the matching deck variants.
Deal hands from the chosen Decktet mix. The tableau starts with a root card. 2 or 3 players.
Play a card from your hand adjacent to a card that shares a suit. Immediate scores include biscuits, hot-cross biscuits, elevensies, and straights as in the published Decktet rules.
A single card is never counted twice for overlapping biscuit patterns. Cross lines score only if they contain at least two cards.
You may pass only if you have no legal play.
The Excuse may sit next to any card but never scores and is not part of straights.
Pawns count as 1 or 10 for elevensies and sit between 9 and Crown in straights. Pawns in opposing hands are worth 3 to the player who goes out.
Pawns and Courts elevensie only with each other. Straight order: 9, Pawn, Court, Crown. Both are worth 3 to the player who goes out.
