Akron is an extension of standard connection games to three dimensions. On their turn, players may introduce new balls of their colour on the lowest layer of the board, or move a ball that is not pinned (having balls resting on it in two or more directions) to a space that is connected to the same group both before and after movement. When balls move, balls resting on it will drop, changing the connections on the board.
