Stack higher than your opponent with one-space, one-level jumps. You must move your lowest pieces first. To take the lead you must beat the opponent’s tallest stack, or failing that their number of stacks at that height.
Inventor: Kanare Kato
Rules
See Kanare Abstract: Stairs and BoardGameGeek.
Goal
After consecutive passes, the player who currently has the lead (tiebreaker) wins. Lead is whoever has the strictly taller maximum stack, or more stacks at that shared maximum height.
Setup
Square board filled with single stones in a starting pattern. Pie rule is available. Autopass if you have no jump.
Gameplay
Jump one of your stones one cell orthogonally onto a stack that is exactly one level higher than the origin (or from ground onto a singleton, and so on — one-space, one-level). You must jump with a piece from among your lowest stacks first.
